With commute functionality and map view tools, you can display travel times and plot journeys to empower candidates to make more informed career decisions. If your primary market is blue-collar workers, these tools support those who use public transport and need real-time insight into their commute to work. What is Commute Search?

Increase user retention and satisfaction by allowing candidates to efficiently narrow down job options based on commute preferences, ensuring a perfect balance between career and lifestyle.

Candidates can search by distance or mode of transport for accurate commute-based searches. Using Google data, our job search also pulls through local public transport information to show accurate travel times.

In our Commute Search, users can select their preferred mode of travel, from walking, cycling, driving, or public transport. Users can then type in the location they would like to be based, for example, Manchester. They can also select the radius of where they’d be willing to travel for a job. Here, they can select travel times of either 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

What is Map Search?

Empower your users to explore job opportunities seamlessly through an intuitive map display, providing a visual representation of office locations and helping candidates make more informed decisions. 

We often find that clients don't want the exact location of a role to be shown on the map - and rightly so. You wouldn't want to reveal your client's location to potential competitors or for confidential purposes. You'll be pleased to know that our Map View will never show the precise location of a role. Instead, we only show the user an area on the map within a 100-metre radius of the job location. We set the radius of 100m around the location of the role to give users an idea of how far they would need to travel to the role while protecting the anonymity of your business and your clients.

Users can zoom in and out on the map and use the filter options, including the Commute Search, to see how far they would need to travel to a job and how many relevant roles are in a particular location.
