How do I make sure my jobs always show on the Map View?

All your roles will appear on the Map View as long as you input all the correct data into the Smart Job Search platform for each job post. For support on what to include when posting a job role on our platform, visit our helpful guide here.

What if I don't want the exact location of a job to be shown?

Our Map View will never show the precise location of a role. Instead, we only show the user an area on the map within a 100-metre radius of the job location. We set the radius of 100m around the location of the role to give candidates an idea of how far they would need to travel to the role while protecting the anonymity of our Vennture customers and their clients.

Can I only use this feature to post remote jobs?

Our Smart Job Search offers you the flexibility to post remote jobs, office-based jobs or a combination of the two.

What if a candidate makes a search and no results pull through?

If a candidate searches for a role and no results pull through, this will be because the location or job role they've searched for doesn't exist within the data you've added to the platform. Users will be shown a message stating this and encouraged to re-enter their search to find the exact role they're looking for.

Can a candidate get directions to the job location?

No. Although our Map View provides an excellent indication of where a role is based, we will only show the user an area on the map within a 100-metre radius of the job location. We do this to protect the anonymity of our Vennture customers and their clients.

Does the Commute Search show distance times with real-time traffic?

No. Although our Commute Search feature provides accurate travel times for walking, cycling, driving or public transport, it does not account for real-time traffic.

What is the maximum travel time a user can input?

With our Commute Search feature, you can select travel times of either 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes using travel modes of walking, cycling, driving or public transport.

Can I select more than one travel mode per search?

Currently, only one mode of transport can be selected per search. To find out other travel times via different travel modes, choose the mode you want to search for. Using our Commute Search feature, you can select travel modes of walking, cycling, driving or public transport.

Is there an option to view the map on a satellite view?

No. As our Map View provides a clear view of job locations, we have yet to add a satellite view option.
