The best way to incorporate keywords naturally is to ensure you’ve covered the topic enough to “hide” the keywords. Try to use variations of the keywords you want to use in the way that you would naturally interchange them if you were speaking to another person.
There are some key areas where a keyword should be placed such as:
- In headings and the title of the page
- Start of relevant paragraphs
- End of relevant paragraphs
But don’t do this at the detriment of your text. It’s okay for it to be more noticeable in headings, however, your paragraphs should not be sandwiched between the same keyword over and over again.
Optimising for intent simply means that you’re writing for an audience looking for something specific. An example of this is ensuring that you’re driving “correct” users to your landing pages.
