Disabling a page is helpful for situations where you have built out a page, but you're not yet ready for it to appear on the site.
To disable a page within the CMS, you will first want to select the "Web Pages" option from the left-hand menu.
This will bring up the Manage pages index along with the full-screen index list shown below:
To disable a page within the CMS, simply find the page you want to disable and click on the cog icon shown below:
This will bring up the page setup window, where at the very top will be a checkbox labelled "is page enabled" Un-check this box and hit "Save & Continue".
Your page should now show the "Disabled page" indicator on the page index. For more information on page indicators, check out this guide: Page Publish Status.
Please Note: Once a page has been disabled, it will continue to appear on your live/staging site until a full site is published.
