As you are building out and adding content to your website, you may need to add more modules to pages to give you more space to work with. Vennture CMS makes the process of adding modules very straightforward.
How to add a module
In Vennture CMS, at the top of every page, you will see an add module plus icon, which, when clicked on, opens up the module selection window.
Once this screen has opened, the second drop-down, 'Select a Module Type,' allows you to choose the module you want to add to your page by selecting it from or searching in the list. Once you've selected the module, click save, and the next window will allow you to edit the content that shows in this module. (Learn more about the different modules you can use here).
Your new module will automatically be added to the bottom of the page, but you are able to use the drag and drop feature in the CMS to re-position the module to where it needs to be within the page. Click on the arrows that appear at the top of each module, then drag to the correct dotted placeholder on the page.
Finding the correct module to use
If you are unsure of the name of the module you want to add to a page, simply find the module in use already on another page in your CMS, then double-click on the module to open the editing screen. At the top of the screen, you will see the name of the module that you can search for when adding a new module to an existing page.
If you want to add the same existing module to a new page, you will need to add a global module - to do this, follow our guide on adding a global module here.
