When you are populating your media items, you want them to look as appealing as possible and displayed in a way that makes it easier for users to digest the information. Each content section, when editing a media item, is equipped with a rich text editor that makes it very easy to amend the way your content looks.
You are able to use this tool much the same as any other text editor you have used previously, formatting text, adjusting layouts and adding headings.
You can also insert hyperlinks and images and embed videos using the icons within the editor.
Please Note: When copying content over from an existing tool, e.g. Word or Google Docs, you can accidentally copy over extra styling rules that break the styling rules in place on the website, making your content format strange. To prevent this, avoid copying and pasting from existing documents, or if you can't avoid it, run your content through an external tool to strip the formatting rules out before pasting it within Vennture. A good example website to use is https://textcleaner.net/
How to Embed a Social Media Post
If you want to embed a social media post within your blog or media item, the text editor allows you to do this as part of the content.
First, you will need to get the embed link for your post - this can be found on the social media site or wherever you want to pull your post from, usually in the share post section. For guidance on how to generate an embed link, see our guide here.
Then, within the text editor for the media item you want to add the post to, in the content section, click on the three dots in the top right corner and then on the < > symbol below to open up the code view. Paste your copied embed link for your post here, click on the < > symbol again to close the code view, and your post should display in the content. Then click save to update your media item.
If this does not happen, check the code you have copied is complete without any missing parts off the end and make sure you have closed the code view before saving your item. If you're still having trouble with this, contact our support team, who will be able to help.
