To launch your new website, you will need to add all your media content to the Media Hub. This is a task that can be done as soon as you have Vennture logins using our guides in the knowledge base.
Below are the key aspects you will need to consider and steps to complete when populating the Media Hub, as well as our handy guides to help with each point.
- Add Authors: Set up your authors to be ready to use for each content piece that you add. You can create these author accounts individually or by using the bulk upload feature. If you have already populated your consultants in Vennture Recruit, you can use the sync feature to save you time here.
- Add Speakers: Create any speaker accounts you will need to use for your podcasts and events. Speakers are different from authors, so they need to be created as separate accounts.
- Add Tags: Set up your tags ready to use against all your media content. You can add as many as you like here; typically, these will match the sectors/specialisms you cover so that you can add filters to media content modules on these pages.
- Add Categories: Add categories when you are ready to organise your content. Again, there is no limit to the number you can add, and categories serve a different purpose than tags - tags are for smaller, more granular topics, whereas categories are for larger themes. We recommend utilising both to organise and structure your content in the easiest way for your users.
- Add Content: Add in all of your media content from your existing website. We would recommend completing a content audit on this before you add it to your new website to remove any very old or unnecessary items so your new website media hub is relevant and up to date. The easiest way of doing this is to use our bulk upload feature to save you time creating every content piece from scratch.
- Publish: Be sure to save all your content to the live environment so that they are all ready to go when you launch your new website. Learn more about the different environments in our guide here.
