The Vennture Media Hub allows you to bulk import media content and related information, which is useful when you are trying to add all of your media content in at the start of a project, or make bulk updates.
The bulk import is done using an Excel spreadsheet provided by the Vennture Media Hub app. This guide will explain how to complete the spreadsheet accurately.
For more information on generating the spreadsheet, read our guide here.
The spreadsheet includes different tabs for each type of information that is to be uploaded.
Authors
In this first tab, you can add all details around author profiles to be created for content in the media hub; including the following;
- Folder: This is used if you have multiple country folders on your website so that authors can be attributed to each folder. If you only have a single folder, the default value to enter here is 'uk'
- First Name: Enter the first name of the author
- Last Name Enter the last name of the author
- Slug: This field is needed as a unique identifier for each author - this can just be their name but must be all lowercase with no spaces included, e.g., johnsmith or firstnamelastname
- Email: Add in the email address for the author - each email address can only be used once
- Job Title: Add in the author's job title
- Bio: Optional field to add in some background on the author
- Image: Add in the filename for the corresponding headshot for the author. This needs to include the file type e.g. .jpg. These headshots should be grouped together in a zip folder and sent to our team so that we can upload these in bulk for you. Alternatively, you can add a placeholder image file name in here and manually upload your headshots after the bulk import is complete.
- Meta Description, etc.: These are optional fields to populate to add meta information for each author
- Publishing Status: In this field, set whether you want the author to appear on the live website or not. The values to use here are Live, Staging or Draft.
Speakers
Speakers are the secondary creators in the media hub and are usually guest speakers on events or podcasts. These tend to be individuals who will appear on one or a few pieces of content within the media hub but are not the main creators, so they do not have an author profile created.

These headshots should be grouped together in a zip folder and sent to our team so that we can upload these in bulk for you. Alternatively, you can add a placeholder image file name in here and manually upload your headshots after the bulk import is complete.
